Permafrost's developer reports a new update on 10 October. It fixes a specific co-op joining crash triggered when another player is holding a ranged weapon. The notes also list fixes for crashes after skipping the intro and while using a held consumable.
The friends-only server list now prioritizes friends' worlds and displays more servers. Quest items remain in the world after pickup; the developer says this should prevent some quests from getting stuck.
DLSS and FSR were updated, but these notes do not confirm that FSR was re-enabled on the RTX families covered by the earlier stability hotfixes. The previous RTX story remains a separate report.
Further quest-blocker and co-op fixes are still in progress. These are developer-reported changes, not a measured performance test or a promise that every crash is solved. Read the latest notes and known-issues thread if problems continue.
