Permafrost hotfixes target RTX crashes

Permafrost’s developer has issued two early stability hotfixes. The first disables FSR on NVIDIA RTX 20 and 30 series cards; the second extends that change to RTX 40 and 50 series cards. The stated aim is to reduce crashes on those GPUs.

Steam should download the update automatically. The developer recommends restarting Steam if it has not appeared. These targeted patches are not a promise that every crash or performance problem is fixed.

If problems continue, use the official Bug Reporting section. Avoid sharing account credentials or unrelated personal files with a public report. More hotfixes are planned, so check the latest developer notes.
