Steam’s stable update brings Deck input and Bluetooth fixes

Valve has shipped its 13 October Steam client update to the stable channel. Its notes list more consistent trackpad sensitivity between Steam Deck and Steam Controller, plus a fix for repeated Bluetooth BLE disconnections, especially on Deck.

The update also introduces Big Art Mode in Settings > Home and a Personal Calendar on the Recommended tab. These are client changes, separate from the same day’s beta announcement.

One important caveat: the notes say HDR is disabled when Remote Play streams to an OLED Steam Deck. This is not a new HDR-streaming feature. We have checked the release notes, rather than tested the update on handheld hardware.
