Castlevania is out: check the launch-day issues

Konami now marks Castlevania: Belmont's Curse as available. Rose Belmont's 2D adventure combines whip combat and exploration. The publisher lists 15 October; Steam shows 14 October. Both dates remain in the release diary because the exact local unlock was not independently verified.

The publisher warns that Steam and Xbox on PC may fail to launch with V-Sync off and the frame rate set to Unlimited. Its notice includes a temporary settings workaround. Steam Deck players may also see interface elements partly off-screen; a fix is being investigated.

A separate title-screen problem affects certain system languages, mainly Arabic, on the listed PS5, Xbox Series and PC versions. Konami suggests another supported system language as a temporary workaround and says a patch is being prepared. Read the current notice for the exact steps and affected platforms.
